Our new little buddy is here

Our new little friend is here! We haven't chosen his name yet, so we've just been calling him Buddy. Oh my goodness, is he ever cute. He's a total little boy all over the place and into everything. He's super happy and excited all the time. He loves Koda and Hunny Bee and wants to get up and play with the big dogs... but since he hasnt found his bark yet, and he weighs less than a pound, he just gets to lick there huge noses when someones holding him. Any name suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Tomorrow

I'm starting my phlebotomy class tomorrow. I'm going to be one busy girl, working a full time job and then taking a class afterwards. I'm leaving my house at 7:00am and wont be home until after 9:30pm. But hey at least I have a much greater chance of sleeping like a baby when I finally do get home. I'm really excited to finally get a start on my goal of becoming an RN Midwife. My plan is to do phlebotomy while I go to school for nursing, become an RN, and then work doing that until I get my masters and can deliver babies. Lots of school to come. But such a great investment in my future and I'll be helping people. Double whammy, right there folks

A happy turkey day for me, and one for you!

Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving, and thought of all the wonderful blessings we have in our lives. My turkey I cooked was amazing again. So much so, that theres not any left overs for a cold turkey sandwich.... :( I'll post pics of my turk and first ever pie I made later

Why do I never seem to have enough of this?

Time, its a hot commodity for me lately. Last week, I dont think I was home for more than 20 minutes, except for when I came home to go to sleep. So many things going on. I love to be busy, and hate just sitting around, but boy am I ever, grateful for thanksgiving this week and that wonderful fact that I only have to work two more days. That doesnt mean that I wont be busy, but hopefully I'll be able to get a little more done, without the pesky job taking up all my day time errands. I may even get around to washing some laundry... lets hope so, cause this girl sure could use a load or two

Im learning to knit

So Im going to a knitting class today. Beginning knitting. So that I can take another class to make these...
You may recognize them. They just happen to be Bella's mittens from Twilight. I plan on making them in oh... every color. But we will see how this first class goes first
